Text at the beginning – “The following images were registered in southern Minas Gerais (Brazil) in January 2011, 180km from the highlands of Rio, where, on the same days rain poured heavily, as never seen before, causing the death of 916 people. This video is dedicated to those victims and their families.”

Text at the end – “The rain destroyed the roads, keeping me stuck for some days in the Matutu Valley at Aiuruoca. Although the car wasn’t appropriate, it was the only way to continue with my journey. It took 03 long hours of mud before reaching the asphalt.”
