This timelapse is called SCI-Arc Thesis Week 2011, and was created by Ryan Tyler Martinez on Vimeo. It is 00:03:46 long. The last time we checked (on March 31st, 2015), it had around 160,000 plays on Vimeo
This short tries to capture Southern California Institute of Architecture’s annual September graduation and thesis show. It was shot over a three day event. The original music is done by a friend of a friend Aaron Spectre. Please support him here. http://drumcorpsmassive.com/
The event features a variety of internationally respected architects including SCI-Arc’s Director Eric Owen Moss, Thom Mayne, Neil Denari, Hsinming Fung, Hernan Diaz Alonso, Silvia Lavin, and Jeffrey Kipnis among others.
The time lapse shots where made with a ND filter and a remote timer. The movement was done in After Effects. I used a Canon 550D for the footage with a collection of lenses.
A special thank you to Karim Attoui.
